The history of higher education in the United States started with the foundation of the Harvard University 300 years ago. In 2013 the The World University Rankings ranked 76 universities of the US among the World’s top 200. Figured up, They ranked 111 universities from the US in the top 400. This clearly illustrates that the US has the best ranked universities across the globe.
