Easily digestible
Stomach ulcers are more than unpleasant and can make the food intake a quite painful torture. However, bananas are easily digestible and can be eaten without hesitation. They bring vitamins and dietary fibres and help reducing the body temperature in a case of fever.
Bananas for anaemia
Due to their high iron content, bananas stimulate the blood cell building processes in the bone marrow. After consumption, high amounts of red blood cells and haemoglobin reach into the blood circulation system. Therefore, bananas are an optimal dietary supplement for anaemia.
Bananas for pyrosis (heartburn)
Bananas are a natural anti-reflux, which can cure heartburn symptoms in short time. How? Banana actually helps to balance your stomach’s pH. It enhances the protective mucus layer of your stomach, helps relieving stomach pain. The fibre content also moves food through your digestive tract faster – preventing reflux.
Over the long term, bananas thicken the protective mucus barrier in the stomach, preventing damage from hydrochloric acid.
Great sports nutrition
Eaten before sports, bananas provide lots of energy through its nutrition and its easy digestibility for your training. Valuable minerals, vitamins and potassium have a positive effect on your performance as well as in your recovery process afterwards. Many sportsmen swear on the cross combination of coffee and bananas as the perfect energy supplier before sports.
