Accommodation
By living in the campus, students will meet other students from all over the world that share mutual interests, discover new sports and activities, and make lifelong friends. It’s also very convenient: the student accommodation is only minutes from lectures and all campus facilities. Plus, when students live on campus, there are no monthly electricity bills or travel expenses to worry about! There are about 1,600 residential accommodation places available, 300 of which are in the brand new student residences development.
Heriot-Watt University has a choice of self-catering shared flats or rooms available. Room sizes vary between 10 and 15 square metres, depending on the room type, but all rooms are well furnished, and have 24MBPS broadband internet connections as standard plus Wi-Fi.

The facilities provided in the university's technology faculty offer an impressive range of laboratories, workshops and specialised equipment that your business can access for experimental work, testing prototypes, data analysis or training purposes. In the Edinburgh Conference Centre, a leading venue for academic meetings, international conferences, product launches, exhibitions and functions in Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh Conference Centre gives students everything they need for a successful event.
