About
Quantity surveying is a lesser-known degree that teaches students measurement, construction technology, economics, and the legal elements of building contracts. The curriculum is unusual in that it focuses on building and infrastructure measuring work in civil engineering. The purpose is to develop qualified quantity surveying graduates who can work in the field. Quantity surveyors are responsible for estimating construction costs, handling finances, and supervising contractual administration in building projects. The curriculum, like Engineering and Architecture, provides a hard yet rewarding professional path. It is critical to understand the process and calculations involved in estimating building expenditures, whether for personal or financial purposes.
