Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons)

This program was created to give students a competitive edge while also satisfying the standards of professional associations. This course seeks to give students practical skills that match the expectations of the computing industry, particularly in software development and network security, in addition to computer science concepts and theories. Additionally, students will acquire a foreign language and soft skills that are necessary in the modern business world.

Entry Level and Requirements

• Foundation : Certificate with CGPA 2.0 and credits in Mathematics and any one of the Science, Technology or Engineering subject.
• Diploma : Diploma in Computing (Level 4, MQF) or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA 2.5
• Other Diploma : Any Diploma in Science and Technology (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA 2.75.
• A-level : 2Ds (and a credit in Maths at SPM or equivalent)
• STPM : Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in Mathematics or ICT subject.
• UEC : 5Bs (including Mathematics or Additional Mathematics and 1 of Science, Technology or Engineering subject)
• CPU : 5 passes with an average of 55 (not less than 50 marks for each subject including a credit in Mathematics or Additional Mathematics at SPM or equivalent)
• TEE : 5 passes with minimum aggregate of 279 (4 subjects including a credit in Maths at SPM or equivalent)
• SACE : 5 passes with TER of 55 (not less than 10/20 for each subject including a credit in Maths at SPM or equivalent)
• NSW (HSC) : 10 units with ATAR of 55 (not less than 50 points for each subject including a credit in Additional Mathematics in SPM or O-Level)
• Australian Year 12 : 4 or 5 passes with ATAR of 55 (including a credit in Additional Mathematics in SPM or O-Level)
• Others: Others equivalent qualifications that is recognised by government of Malaysia

NOTE : The requirement for a credit in Additional Mathematic at SPM level can be exempted if the entry qualification has a Mathematic subject and the achievement is equivalent or higher than the requirement at SPM level
