In order to prepare students to conduct scholarly research, be at the forefront of their specialized fields, and become respected authorities and experts who support the growth and advancement of knowledge while upholding the highest professional standards, the Doctor of Philosophy (Financial Technology) program is a research-based program. Candidates can complete this program in 3 years by enrolling full-time or in 4 years by enrolling part time.
Students who complete the program will have the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out cutting-edge research and have a solid understanding of advancements in financial technology. Additionally, a unique learning experience is produced by having a collegial network of exceptionally talented and driven peers.

Entry Requirements
- A Master’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Insurance or related field as accepted by the University Senate.
- International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 6.5 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or its equivalent.
