If you are completing post 16 education and will achieve an Extended Diploma or A Level in Music or Music Technology, or any relevant Advanced Level 3 courses, then this could be your next move. We happily accept applications from mature students and will often take a wider more flexible view of your skills or potential, even if you have missed out on formal qualifications.
Curriculum
This vocationally focused course is aimed at music producers who wish to develop their skills to a professional level and gain an in-depth understanding of the music industry. A key feature of this course is its dual focus on technology and creativity. The main recording studio features a top of the range digital desk, Pro Tools HD recording on iMac and a comprehensive set of quality outboard facilities. There is another pro tools suite at the main Barnstaple campus and a project and mixing room at the off site campus. Software includes pro tools, logic 9, reaktor and final cut.
