Entry Requirements

Entry Level and Requirements

For Local Students

 

  • A bachelor degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50 in related field, as accepted by Senate; or
  • A bachelor degree or equivalent in related field with CGPA of less than 2.50 and a minimum of five years working experience in the related field.

Special requirement for Master of Science in Public Health:

  • i. A bachelor degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50 in related f ield, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
  • ii. A bachelor degree or equivalent in related f ield with CGPA of less than 2.50 and a minimum of 5 years working
  • experience in the related f ield; or
  • iii. Doctor of Medicine (MD), Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) (Level 6, MQF) or equivalent

For International Students

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
  • CGPA of 2.50 but below 2.75 may be accepted after rigorous internal assessment; OR
  • CGPA below 2.50 with at least 5 years of work experience in a relevant field.
  • Non-computing degree holders must take prerequisite computing modules.
  • IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 525 or equivalent.
