APU's Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Digital Advertising, in partnership with the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), equips students with expertise in digital advertising technologies, concept generation, and creative thinking. The program integrates design research, theoretical knowledge, and hands-on studio projects to foster experiential learning. Students develop skills in advertising campaigns, focusing on strategy, planning, integrated communications, art direction, and copywriting. With guidance from experienced faculty and industry professionals, along with industry placements and agency visits, graduates are well-prepared for careers in the evolving digital marketing landscape.

Entry Requirements

Direct Entry to Level 1 of the Degree

STPM

  • A Pass in STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any 2 subjects.

A-Level

  • 2 Passes in A-Level.

UEC

  • 5 Grade B’s in UEC.

Matriculation/Foundation

  • A Pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.

Direct Entry to Level 2 of the Degree

Related Diploma

  • A Diploma or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent.
  • A Diploma in Media and Communication or its equivalent.
  • A pass in DKM / DLKM / DVM with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to HEP Senate/Academic Board’s approval.
  • Those with a CGPA of 2.00 need at least two years of working experience.

Portfolio Requirement

Note: Pass an Interview OR submission of a Design Portfolio as required.

Equivalent qualification and/or experience which is recognised by the Senate/institution.

Note: The above entry requirements may differ for specific programmes based on the latest programme standards published by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). The qualification and entry requirements for the programmes will be determined based on the "Comparison List of Equivalency of International Qualifications with SPM (O-Levels equivalent) and STPM (A-Levels equivalent)" published by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
