About
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills required for them to play a leading role in travel and tourism related service industries. Furthermore, students will have a critical awareness of travel and tourism's roles in business, the environment, and sustainability. BA (Hons) in Tourism Management also hopes to deliver an advanced study of travel and tourism and facilitates progression, both academic and vocational, by means of developing their intellectual capabilities, knowledge, key personal and transferable skills and a capacity for independent and lifelong learning. Not only that, students will be further exposed to modules that develop cultural skills, negotiation and communication skills, combined with the ability to develop and market a product; namely tourism.
This programme is also a Dual degree programme offered in partnership with De Montfort University (DMU) and is recognised by International Management Institute (IMI) from Switzerland.

General Requirements
DIRECT ENTRY TO LEVEL 1 OF THE DEGREE: | |
STPM | • 2 Passes in STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) |
A-LEVEL | • 2 Passes (Grade A-D) in A-Level |
UEC | • 5 Grade B’s in UEC. |
MATRICULATION/ FOUNDATION | • Passed Foundation programme (minimum CGPA of 2.0). |
