About Bachelor's Degree courses in Law in Malaysia
Studying aw in Malaysia brings a lot of opportunities with it, as law is a broad area of study. There will always be a need for legal services or agents who can provide legal advice. The bachelor degree course will take three years and contains fields as criminal law, civil litigation law, tort law, tax law and corporate/ commercial law. The general entry requirements for a degree in Law are as followed: A- level, minimum of 2 credits or any recognized pre-university course on A-level.

Private Practice
The traditional career option is attaching yourself to a law firm, to get some experience and discover the work field. However, you will start with the position of Legal Assistant or Associate. There is a possibility to be promoted to Senior Legal Assistant or Senior Associate after a few years.
In-house Career
Financial institutions, public listed companies and multinational organizations are some of the companies that require a corporate lawyer. This is a chance to attach yourself to a corporation. It is possible to join the corporation’s legal department as a legal officer/ legal executive, a managerial position or even as the head of department.
Government Agencies
Seeking the government is also a possibility, there are a lot of positions that you can apply for in the public sector. Like an attorney in General Chambers of Ministery of Foreign Affairs.
