Bachelor of Medical Imaging (Honours)
About
The four-year undergraduate Bachelor of Medical Imaging (Hons) curriculum at MAHSA University prepares certified radiographers to diagnose illnesses and injuries by using radiography, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound expertly. Graduates of this medical imaging (also known as medical diagnostic radiography) program will be qualified as radiographers, who are in high demand and highly respected in hospitals and medical facilities across the globe.
Students who successfully complete this program will be able to perform a wide range of expert tasks, including properly positioning patients for optimal imaging outcomes, using radiographic exposure factors to maximise image quality and minimise radiation exposure and dosage, and efficiently using a variety of medical imaging techniques to take pictures of various patient anatomy parts in order to identify injuries and potential illnesses among other services. The radiographers who graduate from MAHSA will be able to provide a variety of vital services to healthcare facilities worldwide.
