Entry Requirements

Prerequisites:

  • Pass SPM//O-level or equivalent with 5 credits including English for entry with pre-university / foundation qualification (Except for UEC).
  • Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 3 credits including English for entry with Diploma qualification.

Entry Pathway

Any one of these:

  • Taylor’s Foundation in Arts (FIA): Pass with min. CGPA 2.00
  •  Taylor’s Diploma in Communication (DICM): Pass with min. CGPA 2.00 
  • Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM): CC
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Pass with min. 5Bs including English                                                                                                (Note: Candidates without a Grade ‘B’ in UEC English may be admitted if the candidate has a credit in English at SPM or equivalent)
  • A Level: Min. DD (2 subjects)
  • AUSMAT (SACEi): Min. ATAR 55
  • Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Min. average of 55% in 6 subjects
  • International Baccalaureate (IB): Min. 24 points in 6 subjects
  • Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY): Overall 50%
  • Other Qualifications:
  1. Pass Foundation / Pre-University from any other institution recognised by MOHE with min CGPA 2.0; or
  2. Pass Diploma from any other institution recognised by MOHE with min CGPA 2.0 or
  3. Pass Diploma in Media and Communication or its equivalent; or (Pre-requisite of credit in English at SPM level or equivalent is not required)
  4. Pass Matriculation from an institution recognised by MOHE; or
  5. Any other equiv. qualification recognized by M'sian Government.

Note: Candidates without a credit in English at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the STPM / Foundation / Diploma / Matriculation programme contains subjects in English that are equivalent or higher to English at SPM level.

  • IELTS, TOEFL, MUET, UEC English: Pass English
  • Taylor's EET: Overall score 5.0
  • Taylor's IEN: Level 2 - Grade C
  • Pre-University/Diploma: Complete Pre-University/Diploma that was conducted in English

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

  • IELTS: 5.5
  • Pre-U / Diploma: Completed Pre-U / Diploma that was conducted in English
