Ben Fatto (which is Italian for 'well done') to Dr. Paolo Mura (who is originally from Italy), for being recognised by the VC & President of Taylor's University, Emeritus Professor Dato’ Dr. Hassan Said with the Excellence in Research & InnovationAward. The citation for the award outlined his scholarly production and research-related activities at both national and international levels. Dr. Paolo is originally from Abruzzo (Italy), a region not too far from Rome. He obtained his Bachelor in Economics from the University ‘G. D’Annunzio’ (Italy), and PhD in Tourism from the University of Otago (New Zealand). He joined the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts back in 2010. The main focus of his research is on tourist behaviour, and his recent publications have appeared in top journals including the Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management and Current Issues in Tourism. He has also been the convenor and organiser of the BEST-EN Think Tank XIIIin 2013 and the 21st Asia Pacific Tourism Association (APTA) Conference in 2015. Moreover, Dr. Paolo has been an Invited Keynote speaker at the 1st International Forum in Leisure Education in Xi’an (China) and at the 6th India International Hotel, Travel & Tourism Research Conference in Delhi (India). Dr. Paolo Mura said that he felt, "Very honoured to be recognised for his contribution to research and innovation".
