About this course
Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest of engineering disciplines. It is referred as the ‘mother’ branch of engineering. Most of the inventions in the modern era are due to the contribution of knowledge and application of mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineers contribute their knowledge in the design, development, manufacture, testing of various engines, vehicles and machines, manufacturing plants, automated mechanical systems, etc. Graduates will be able to work in a wide spectrum of industries including manufacturing, oil and gas, automotive, chemical processing, air conditioning and refrigeration, agriculture and many others.
