The Doctor of Philosophy (Built Environment) produces professionals equipped with advanced and updated knowledge and new development, high order thinking skills, research skills and soft skills specialised in the field of built environment or related discipline.
Entry Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements
- A Master's Degree (MQF, Level 7) in Civil / Materials Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, Built Environment, or other related field which is accepted by the Senate of TAR UC; OR
- Other qualifications equivalent to a Master's Degree (MQF, Level 7) in Civil / Materials Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, Built Environment, or other related field that are accepted by the Senate of TAR UC.
English Language Requirements
Malaysian Students
- MUET Band 4 or IELTS Band 5.5 or TOEFL Score 550; OR
- Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
International Students
- IELTS Band 5.0; OR
