Bachelor of Technology Management (Hons)

The three-year Bachelor of Technology managerial degree gives students the technological know-how and fundamental managerial abilities they need to tackle business difficulties. It focuses on combining technology and management concepts to improve productivity and address practical issues. Core management courses, technology-focused courses, and real-world industry applications through projects and internships are all part of the program. Graduates will have good problem-solving capabilities, be tech-savvy, and have great managerial qualities. The growing need for middle managers across a range of industrial sectors is what this program seeks to address. Opportunities for employment include positions as an industrial consultant, technology manager, project manager, and operations manager. Candidates can complete this program in 3 years by enrolling full-time or in 4 years,5 months by enrolling part time.

Entry Level and Requirements

For Local Students

• A pass in STPM with at least Grade C (GP 2.0) in any TWO subjects* and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM; OR

• A pass in STAM with at least Grade Jayyid and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM; OR

• Matriculation or Foundation with at least CGPA of 2.00; OR

• A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with at least CGPA of 2.00; OR

• Pass Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/ Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/ Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and the program must get Full Accreditation (FA) by MQA or other accreditation bodies recognized by the government of Malaysia and approved by the UniKL Senate.

For International Students

• Students must complete 12 years of schooling and obtain a general pass in their High School Certificate,
• A-levels or equivalent with min Grade C (60%) in Mathematics and one of the Science subjects (such as Physics, Chemistry or Biology – depending on the programme)
• IELTS 5.0 or equivalent
