About
The Master of Engineering (Electronic Systems) program provides a distinctive blend of scientific and engineering expertise within the field of Electronic Engineering. It offers graduates an opportunity to engage in an in-depth study of electronic systems, equipping them with the skills necessary for professional analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation. This program is designed to produce highly competent graduates who excel in research, analysis, design, teaching, and consulting roles.
Upon completion, graduates will have expanded their knowledge of research methodologies, enabling them to formulate and apply innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. Additionally, they will develop the ability to critically evaluate research findings and apply sound scientific judgment.
Graduates will also gain expertise in electronic manufacturing, micro-fabrication, advanced electronic devices and sensors, optics and optoelectronics, communication and networking, embedded systems, and advanced programming for embedded hardware.

Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with CGPA of 2.75 and above or equivalent as approved by the Senate; or
- A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with CGPA of 2.00 and above but less than CGPA of 2.75, or equivalent as approved by the Senate subject to rigorous internal assessment.
- Candidates without a Bachelor’s degree in the related fields or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by UTAR and meet the minimum CGPA stated above.

- TOEFL : 500/ TOEFL iBT Score 40 - 45
