About Novosibirsk State University

Novosibirsk State University is a young, dynamic university located in one of the most exciting places in the world, in Novosibirsk Academy Town, also known as Akademgorodok.

It is a place specially designed for research, for being a part of global academic community even in its Soviet past. The university was established as a unique learning and research playground for highly concentrated science all around. NSU offers an outstanding environment for study and research and is considered one of the best universities in Russia.

While attending the university, students and young scholars have the unique opportunity of tapping the resources of the many nearby research institutions of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences to pursue innovative research while also enjoying the social and cultural life of Novosibirsk, which is the largest city of Russia between Ural Mountains and Pacific Ocean.
