Academic Qualification Admission

At least a 2nd class 
honours degree in 
Business

Direct entry to MBA

At least a 2nd class 
honours degree in a non 
Business-related discipline

Entry to MBA after Pre-Masters (4 months)

General / pass degree; or
Recognised diploma in 
Business

Graduate Certificate in Management Studies; or MISTC Graduate Diploma in Business Management, then proceed to MBA

  • No work experience required for the above programmes
  • Mature candidates with good work experience and/or professional qualifications can gain direct entry to the Master of Business Administration or Graduate Certificate in Management Studies or Pre-Masters on a case-by-case basis

 

The Marketing Institute of Singapore Training Centre Board of Studies reserves the right to change the above requirements and selection at its sole discretion.

 

English Language Requirements

 

  • GCE “O” or “AO” pass in English
  • English language requirement for international students whose first language is not English: IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 590 / GCSE Grade C / TOEFL IB 95 / MISTC EL4 score 80% and above
  • Students with MISTC EL4 below 80% will be required to attend 6 months of Business English Course during their first year of the Degree programme

The programme is offered on both full-time and part-time basis. For the part-time programme, classes are usually held two to three times a week on weekdays.

Applicants with at least a 2nd class honours degree in a non Business-related discipline are required to complete a 4-month Pre-Masters programme before gaining entry to the MBA programme. The 4-month programme covers the following 8 subjects over 180 hours with in-class tests:
