Singapore – Scoot officially joined in the SG50 celebrations with the unveiling of its newest Boeing 787 Dreamliner on 6 July 2015. The aircraft, named Maju-lah, was painted in special commemorative party-themed livery, featuring big red party balloons, bursts of confetti, the SG50 logo, Singapore’s iconic Merlion and caricatures of two Scoot cabin crew helping to spread the main message, “Happy 50th Birthday Singapore”.
Strict criteria were set for invited companies to partner with Scoot in conjunction with its celebration of Singapore’s 50th birthday. Invited companies are organisations that have long lasting ties with Singapore or are part of the new wave of investment and technology that will shape her future development for the next 50 years. Raffles Education Corporation is proud to be one of the 20 local companies and the ONLY education partner to be invited by Scoot to have our logo painted on the party balloons on the body of the aircraft. This is undoubtedly a recognition of Raffles Education Corporation’s establishment in the education industry.
