Accommodation

Given the large student population in Montreux, there is a variety of accommodation options but with limited availability. Students are recommended to begin their accommodation search as soon as they receive an offer from EU Montreux.

Student dorms

Living in student dorms allows for social interaction in a structured living environment without the stress of rental agencies or household chores. EU Montreux has partnerships with student residences around the city, all just a 15-minute walk from campus.

Private Apartments

This type of student accommodation in Montreux is recommended for those who prefer independence and flexibility. Most apartments are rented through an agency, although renting directly from the owner generally more cost-saving. It is important to take note that many apartments and studios do not have a private washer or dryer; instead; such facilities are prepared for the common use of all residents in the building.

Apartment Sharing

Sharing an apartment is a popular concept in Montreux and is a lot cheaper than having a private rental. For those who are interested in this option, they are highly recommended to arrive in Montreux before commencing studies in order to meet potential roommates and landlords personally. They may also contact the student affairs officer on campus to be paired with another student who is in search of a shared apartment.

This is a very interesting setup as it gives students access to different cultures, and more importantly, networking opportunities across Europe. The size of the classes is adequately small, allowing students to interact very efficiently with the professors.
