Curriculum

The Design & Make courses are structured around a series of hands-on design-make studio projects of increasing scale and sophistication leading to the student construction of either a campus building (MArch students) or full-scale timber prototype (MSc students). These are complemented by the seminar courses and workshops in forestry, woodworking and both traditional and contemporary building crafts, and by lectures and events at Hooke Park and at the AA in London. The teaching team consists of architect and engineer tutors, construction experts, and the support of world-leading consultants who provide technical guidance for the projects.
