Entry Requirements
- A Level
- BCC including Music at B and English or other literary subject* at C.
- Applicants must also pass ABRSM or Trinity Guildhall Grade 5 Theory test.
- International Baccalaureate
- 27 points overall with 6,5,4 in HL subjects including HL Music and English or other literary subject* at 5. In exceptional circumstances, where the applicant's school does not offer Music as an element of IB, applicants who have achieved ABRSM Grade VIII on the Principal Study instrument may be considered. In such cases, academic referees should clearly state that HL Music is not offered as part of the curriculum.
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS (Academic): 6.0 overall, with no component below 5.5;
- TOEFL Internet Based Test: 80 overall with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing;
- Pearson’s Test Academic English: 56 overall with a minimum of 51 in each component;
- Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): 169 overall with a minimum of 162 in each component;
- Cambridge English First (FCE) : 169 overall with a minimum of 162 in each component;
- Cambridge English Advanced (CAE): 169 overall with a minimum of 162 in each component;
- Other recognised qualifications.
