Year 3: Core modules: genetic manipulation and bioethics; either: researching the social world or research methods for psychology; 2 biology modules from: systematic and cellular pathology/human physiology in health and disease; nutrition and health; pharmacology of chemical mediators; clinical microbiology; 1 sociology module from: critical perspectives health and illness or understanding social policy in Britain; 1 psychology module from: personality and individual differences; human cognition; social psychology
Year 4: Core Module: either: dissertation or empirical project; 2 biology modules from: emerging and re-emerging infections; bacterial pathogenicity; pathophysiology and therapeutics; pharmacology special topics; human toxicology and the environment; 2 psychology/sociology modules from: ageing and society; issues in medical ethics; the body in society; environmental sociology; forensic psychology; environmental psychology; neuropsychology; abnormal psychology; gender issues in psychology; health psychology
