About Leeds College of Building

Leeds College of Building was established in 1960 and is the only specialist further & higher education construction college in the UK. The Principal is Ian Billyard, who was appointed in March 2003.

The College is based over four sites in Leeds: North Street; Hunslet (Cudbear Street, off Crown Point Road); Millwright Street and Lockwood Way.

Campus information

Leeds College of Building is well-equipped with an extensive library/learning resource centre, featuring books, journals, DVD's, as well as IT facilities such as networked computers and multimedia CD-ROMs. The college also offers cutting-edge specialist training workshops and facilities across a number of construction trades.

Leeds College of Building has several sites across Leeds, Yorkshire Dales National Park is only 20 miles away.
