  •  Garden City Campus

Adelphi’s main campus has homed one of Long Island’s most historic and scenic towns since 1929. Located fewer than 20 miles from Manhattan, Garden City is a tight-knit community of just over 20,000 residents. The village is an oasis of bucolic beauty with good facilities—such as public schools—as well as a thriving downtown with a mixture of small shops and restaurants and local retailers. Garden City provides a safe and elegant home for Adelphi’s main campus.

  •   Hudson Valley Center

Adelphi’s Hudson Valley Center in historic Poughkeepsie,NY has served social work and nursing students from across regions along the upper Hudson Valley for more than 30 years. The Center’s strong academic foundation enhances close working relationships with social service agencies throughout the Hudson Valley.

  •   Manhattan Center

Adelphi University’s Manhattan Center, at 75 Varick Street on the corner of Varick and Canal Streets, is located in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, where art and commerce combine. The Center is within easy access of Wall Street and Midtown, and is well served by subways that link students, faculty and administrators to Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.

  •   Suffolk County Centers

Adelphi University offers academic opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students at two locations in Suffolk County, Long Island. The Hauppauge Education and Conference Center offers programs in professional and graduate education, while Adelphi Sayville provides degree programs for adult and transfer students seeking to complete their undergraduate education


1,300 students are housed in seven clean and safe residence halls. Each residence hall is supervised by a full-time, professional residence hall director (RHD) who is committed professionally and personally to the concept of the residence hall as a center of learning. The RHD lives and works in the hall throughout the year and supervises a staff of trained graduate and undergraduate resident assistants (RAs).

Adelphi maintains seven distinctive residential communities: Chapman Hall, Earle Hall, Eddy Hall, Linen Hall, New Residence Hall A, New Residence Hall B and Waldo Hall. All of their halls are coeducational by either floor or wing, have common areas with TVs, kitchenettes with ranges, microwaves and sinks, vending machines and laundry facilities.
