About Anna Maria College (AMC)

AMC has grown to offer a variety of undergraduate majors, as well as many graduate and certificate programs, both on-ground and online. The small student-faculty ratio allows for a highly personalized learning experience, while the modest class and campus size allows for optimal student involvement. The College offers 13 Division III NCAA athletic programs for men and women. AMC's campus is conveniently located just minutes away from Worcester, MA on 192 acres in Paxton.

Students at Anna Maria College receive a professionally-focused, liberal arts education consistent with the College's Catholic identity and values.

AMC distinguishes itself through its career-oriented liberal arts education, accessible and responsive faculty, small class sizes, and a variety of co-curricular activities including Division III athletics. Popular majors include criminal justice, fire science, music therapy, nursing, social work and sport management.

AMC offers an Honors Program, as well as numerous and unique study abroad opportunities. Anna Maria College is also a member of the Higher Education Consortium of Central Massachusetts, a group of 12 colleges that allows students to cross register at no additional cost.

Located in the New England setting of Paxton, Massachusetts

The New England setting of Paxton, Massachusetts is the home to this exceptional liberal arts college that offers students the best of both worlds: a relaxed, safe environment in which to live and study, and close proximity to the college town of Worcester. AMC students can enjoy all that a liberal arts college campus has to offer and also partake in the excitement of the Worcester area, including concerts at the DCU Center and the Palladium, skiing at nearby Wachusett Mountain, art exhibits at the world-class Worcester Art Museum and great restaurants in Worcester’s growing downtown. AMC is also about an hour’s drive to Boston, Cape Cod, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont and Rhode Island.

All residence halls are smoke free, including student rooms.

All rooms have twin beds, bureaus, study desks, closets, desk chairs and overhead lighting. Most rooms are doubles (for two residents.) There are also triple rooms (for three residents) and quads (for four residents), as well as suites.
