The beautiful tree-lined campus has undergone a transformation over the past five years with the addition of a campus green and walking track in the heart of campus and the renovation and construction of a new campus center and residence hall.
The campus is comprised of five classroom buildings, a gymnasium and two residence halls. Katahdin Hall is home of the Enrollment Center, dining facility, Technical Resource Center, Library, John Rohman Art Gallery and a childcare center which is operated by Penquis and which also serves as an instructional “lab” for our Early Childhood Education program.
Located in the heart of Bangor, our 72-acre campus is adjacent to the Hogan Road exit off Interstate 95—just a short distance from Eastern Maine Medical Center, downtown Bangor, and the Bangor Mall—and is served by public transportation
Studies show that students that live on campus have higher GPAs, are more likely to complete their education and, as a whole, get more out of their college experience.
When you reside on-campus, there is always someone around and always something to do. You have easy access to Student Services and form stronger friendships with other students. Each semester, numerous recreational and educational activities are scheduled for residents to participate in.
