Entry Requirements

  • Submit Credentials
    • High School Credentials: You must provide your high school transcript if you are currently attending high school. If you have graduated High School, you must submit a copy of your High School diploma or the equivalent.
    • SAT: Optional/only required for students interested in scholarship consideration.
    • Transfer Credit: If you are transferring credits from a previous college or university, you must submit official academic transcripts.
    • $35 Admissions Fee for undergraduate students, $50 Admissions Fee for graduate students (Online Payment)
    • Professional References: Direct admit Bachelor's students must also submit (2) letters of professional references.
  • Admissions Interview
    • A meeting is required between every prospective student and a Monroe admissions counselor.
    • Educational Expenses and I20 Requirements
    • Once issued the Form I20AB, this step outlines important information for Embassy Interview and the receiving of a Student VISA.
    • The educational and living expenses you may incur during the first academic year (two semesters, totaling nine months) are dependent on the student’s campus choice, educational level, and living arrangements.  Students planning to participate in Monroe’s Accelerated Degree Program (three semesters per year) must also account for the costs associated with the third semester.
  • Required Personal Documents:
    • Documentation of Birth Date: (Birth Certificate, Drivers License, Passport are all acceptable)
    • Social Security Card
    • Immunization Documents (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) * If not available, students may receive this at Monroe College before registration.
    • Alien Registration Card or Green Card (For legal non residents)
    • Proof of Income Documents (One or more may be required)
