About Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology

At Vaughn College, our mission is to educate and train future leaders in the future-proof fields of engineering and technology, management and aviation.

Vaughn classes are led by an experienced and passionate faculty; a faculty that doesn't just teach subjects, but lives those subjects, often holding important and influential positions in their respective fields of expertise.

At Vaughn, we can't wait for you to get out in the world and succeed, and our stats prove it: 92% of Vaughn graduates are either employed or continue their educations within one year of graduation.

It all happens in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art campus adjacent to LaGuardia Airport that's an easy commute from all points in the New York Metro area.

Vaughn College is just minutes from Manhattan, the most exciting, culturally diverse city in the world–and from Long Island’s world-famous sandy shores. Our campus is a hub of activity with opportunities for connecting and engaging with faculty and friends.

Take public transportation to the best in sports (the Mets’ home, Citi Field, is only a few miles from campus), entertainment and museums and the most trendy, exciting clubs and restaurants anywhere on the planet.

Take the train east to the beach. Or, stay right here in our Queens neighborhood, which is home to its own museums, zoos and the U.S. Open.

After you’re done enjoying all that New York City has to offer, come back to campus and join your classmates on the athletic field, participate in a great conversation with a faculty member on a current event, or spend time in a wide variety of clubs and activities.

Accommodation

A safe living environment that’s a home away from home, our three-story residence hall opened in spring 2008 and provides accommodations for 200 students in your choice of a single, double, triple or quadruple suite with a semi-private bath.

Each room also has a bed, dresser, desk and chair for each student, and is equipped with local phone service, cable hookup and your choice of either an Ethernet or wireless connection. View your room choices here to select the one that’s best.

Vaughn students who live on-campus enjoy (almost) all the comforts of home–and more. To keep our residence hall comfortable for all, students who live here must follow our Policies and Procedures. Our residence hall features:

A fully equipped kitchen you can use virtually any time
A dining hall that’s open weekdays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on weekends, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. A variety of meal plan options are available.
Two laundry rooms, so washing and drying your own clothes becomes another opportunity to hang out with friends.
Three student lounges (one on each floor).

All Vaughn students also have access to our:

Fitness center with weight training and cardiovascular equipment, as well as Nautilus equipment and treadmill. (Students who wish to utilize the fitness center must sign the Vaughn College fitness center waiver and release agreement as well as get a fitness sticker placed on the back of the student ID card
Student Lounge with pool table, plenty of comfortable seating, and places to hang out and catch up with friends.
Our suites are comfortable and include a loftable bed, two dressers, a desk and chair as well as closet space.
