City East campus
Located on the corner of North Terrace and Frome Road on the cusp of the CBD, City East has the State’s only programs in podiatry, pharmacy and medical radiation, and a lengthy history teaching occupational therapy, physiotherapy and human movement. It is also home to nursing and midwifery, and the medical sciences.
City West campus
Located in the centre of Adelaide's major arts, culture and entertainment precinct, City West provides a hub for artists and academics alike, and an atmosphere that is ripe for the exploration of ideas and the pursuit of excellence. The campus is located on the western edge of the CBD, just a short stroll along North Terrace from Adelaide Railway Station. City West is within walking distance of a range of nightclubs, bars, live music venues, cafés, restaurants and alternative fashion stores.
Magill campus
Magill campus is around seven kilometres from central Adelaide. It is located on St Bernards Road, very close to amenity-rich Magill Road. Several restaurants and takeaway shops, a pub, and a cinema are all within easy walking distance of the campus. Student discounts are provided by many of these local businesses.
Mawson Lakes campus
Located in one of Adelaide’s premier developing suburbs, our Mawson Lakes campus boasts contemporary teaching, learning and research facilities; manicured green spaces and wetland areas; buzzing cafés; and leisure facilities to help you get the most out of your UniSA experience. The campus is located 20 minutes from the Adelaide city centre, on Mawson Lakes Boulevard in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.
Students can choose from a range of accommodation options when studying at SAIBT.
Homestay
Homestay allows you to live with an Australian family. As a member of the host family, you will be introduced to Australian culture and have the chance to practice English in everyday situations to help you develop your language skills. Most host families are located within 30 minutes by public transport from SAIBT. If you choose a homestay, you must stay for a minimum of five weeks. Homestays are also a good option if you need short-term accommodation while you look for an apartment or house to rent. You can settle into Adelaide quickly with the help of your host family, while you take your time to look for permanent accommodation.
Student apartments
Numerous student apartments are situated in the city centre close to SAIBT. These are generally fully furnished apartments that are only rented to students. Apartments include a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, air conditioning, living/study area and heating. Single, twin and double accommodation is available. Most apartments are available for a minimum term of 12 months and rooms are available in one, two, four or six bedroom apartments.
Student Hostels
Private rental accommodation
Private rental accommodation, usually for six to 12 months should only be organised after you arrive in Adelaide. Assistance is available from the SAIBT Accommodation Office on campus. Beware of rental scams!
Temporary accommodation
Temporary accommodation is available in the form of a share dormitory [backpackers], hostel or hotel accommodation. This accommodation is usually paid for directly with the provider.
