About Academy of Contemporary Music

ACM was founded 20 years ago by Phil Brookes on a single, fundamental principle: an absolute passion for delivering outstanding contemporary music education. In that time, our passion has not changed, and like some of you thinking about University or College for the first time, we've really come of age.

Whether you'd like to focus on music performance, songwriting, production or business, we pride ourselves on delivering an immersive music education in which we match the highest quality of teaching and learning with an unparalleled student experience.

ACM is located in Guildford, Surrey. Guildford is on the main rail line between London Waterloo and Portsmouth & Southsea. ACM is just a short 5 minute walk from Guildford Train Station.
