Entry Requirements

  • 240 UCAS points
  • CCC at A Level or equivalent
  • BTEC Level 3 Qualifications or a combination of A Level and Level 3 BTEC qualifications
  • All Level 3 qualifications welcome - including the Access to HE Diploma with a minimum of  21 Level 3 credits at Merit
  • Plus English and Maths GCSE (C or above), or equiv.
  • We welcome qualifications from around the world. English language qualifications for international students: IELTS score of 6.0, Cambridge Proficiency or Advanced Grade C.

Year 3

  • Major project 1: begin drafting an individual large scale project. This can be either a series of short stories, a novella, a collection of poems, a stage play, a film/television script, graphic novel/comic script, an interactive fiction/video game script or other as agreed with supervising tutor
  • Major project 2: restructuring, redrafting and polishing of creative work begun in major project 1 (double module)
  • Adaptation and dramatisation
  • Literary magazine
  • Media law and ethics
