International Entry Criteria 

  • International students need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 6.5 or above and a minimum of 6.0 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening), or an equivalent secure English language test. In some countries where teaching is in English, we may accept local qualifications.

  • Nineteenth Century Literature or British and Irish Drama since 1945
  • Industry Experience
  • Cultures of Consumption or Genres or Screenwriting

Year 3 (Level 6)

  • Contemporary Writers and the City or The Postcolonial Novel.
  • Media and Communications: Policy and Ethics
  • Dissertation
  • Crime and Fiction or Shakespeare on the Screen
  • Creative Practice: Directing Fiction (Film/Video) or Advertising and Brand Sound (Radio)
